[Me & X] AI inequality and the three classes
X : Do you think AI inequality will be a threat to society?
Me : Hmmm. Let us roll the clock back to 2020 -
X : Future threats to humanity? Climate Change? Politics?
Me : Inequality.
X : You think it'll be worse?
Me : Much worse, especially as we divide into the three classes.
X : Three?
Me : Human (third class), AI (second) and Human + AI (first class) - for those who can afford it.
... and now ask the question, what has changed since then?
X : And?
Me : In the West, nothing much has changed. There has been lots of talk and some high level frameworks but no significant deployment of solutions has been taken. The risk remains as is and so ... yes, it will increasingly become a threat to society.
X : In the West?
Me : Yes, in the West. China is on a very different path.
