[Me & X] Wikipedia and arctic swimwear

X : You have a Wikipedia page.

Me : Yes, I'm aware of that and the inevitability of becoming training data for some LLM/GPT. Why do you ask?

X : It has issues. We can fix those for a nominal fee.

Me : Oh. I didn't create the entry, in fact early on I deleted most of it. However, it came back and so I just let the community change it. I don't want to "fix" anything. I certainly don't want to pay you to do this.

X : Those issues can harm your online reputation.

Me : I think I do enough harm with my presentations. I'm perfectly comfortable with a ruined online reputation. It's like water off a duck's back.

X : But if those issues aren't resolved ...

Me : .... then nothing happens. I have absolutely no interest in paying you or anyone to help "improve" my online presence. I have no interest in being an "influencer" except in Arctic Swimwear.

X : Arctic Swimwear?

Me : I live in Svalbard, where I run a polar bear farm and use the excess fur to create arctic swimwear. I'm the world's leading (and only) designer of such garments.

X : Seriously?

Me : That is what it says on my Facescrape page, has done for over a decade. So, it must be true. I met Mark Z. Decided long ago how safe I felt personal data would be in his hands. Can I interest you in arctic briefs? They are very exclusive and take decades to deliver. You pay up front though.

X : I think I'll be going.

Me : Are you sure? A good fitting pair of arctic budgie smugglers will enhance your online reputation!
