[Opinion] Five things to remember when vibe coding
When "vibe coding", five things to remember ....
1) The moment you look at code you're no longer vibing but into software engineering +AI. You are making a statement that human decision making matters here.
2) Prompts are not commands or rules or instructions. Prompts are wishes. It doesn't matter how many times you tell it to follow your instructions, they are still wishes.
3) All LLMs hallucinate 100% of the time. A lot of the times those hallucinations match some sort of reality.
4) Due to the explosion of demand caused by vibe coding, most organisations will end up needing more software engineers.
5) The industry is still developing practices with the use of agents. There is no "right way" at the moment, it's still emerging.
